With the passing of Robert Sherman at age 86, half of the Sherman Bros. songwriting powerhouse, it’s amazing to look back at all the songs this team cranked out for Disney over the years.
One of our favorites is “It’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow,” written for General Electric’s Progressland pavilion at the 1964 World’s Fair. This is the attraction that originally housed the Carousel of Progress.
We honor Mr. Sherman with a Progressland trash can tribute from the fair!
